How Does FPE Work?
Introductory Sessions Together or seperately, the consumer and family will meet with a practitioner. The practitioner will be informaed about goals, symptoms, medications, family problems or anything else that may be vital for recovery.
Educational Workshop Families and Consumers will both learn more about their illness and how to help with recovery.
Problem-Solving Groups Once every other week, consumer and family will identify and deal with problems that mental illness may interfere with recovery and life. There may be more than one family in each group, to share information or ideas on how to solve problems.
