Responsibilities: The QM Specialist supports the agency on quality initiatives through development, on-going monitoring, and reporting. Multiple tasks and responsibilities are managed simultaneously. The QM Specialist is the designated coordinator of the QI Steering Committee for both BHC and ACT. Multitudes of reports are generated monthly, quarterly and annually. Types and distributes minutes of various meetings. Copies and distributes information to program sites. Develops plans of action to carry out QI initiatives. Prepares the agency, programs and staff for various site visits and audits to include LW, DCH, CARF. Represents Segue at various QI provider meetings.
Requirements:1-2 years experience in the mental health field. 1-2 years experience in quality management to include planning, timelines, data collection and publishing. Organizational skills that foster the ability to meet frequent deadlines are required. Knowledge related to MH code, Recipient Rights and Standards (CARF, DCH, MCO) Extensive skills in the following software applications: MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, Outlook) and Publisher. Good record keeping skills are required. Self motivation and the ability to complete work assignments independently is needed. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Administration, Quality Management or related field is desired. (A combination of education and experience will be considered.)
